1. The quality of the program
  • High level – intense, but effective. A lot of information is thrown at you in a short period of time.
  • Very strong. The energy and involvement of Rick and Paul makes it exciting to be engaged in everything going on. The assessment hit the mark, particularly with Ross’ personal assessment once it was all explained.
  • Excellent.
  • Excellent quality, very detailed.
  • Excellent. It helped flesh out the assessment done with Rick previously. They know their stuff and make it imminently accessible.
  • A+
  • I think the program was great. I learned a great deal about myself, good and bad.
  • Very good program.
  • The best I have every seen.
  • Tremendous value.

2. Professional presentation of the instructors:
  • Very professional. I appreciated time and again how both Rick and Paul fostered conversation and allowed for and accepted comments and questions. I am usually fearful of speaking up, but not in this training! Both (and Ross, too) are obviously highly qualified.
  • Very direct method, always asking if we had questions or feedback. Effective communication and very REAL.
  • Very well.
  • Very professional. Very well informed and fun to work with.
  • If “professional” means knowledgeable, skillful and accessible, then it was definitely a professional program and presentation.
  • Fabulous and fun! They (Rick and Paul) made learning exciting!
  • Rick and Paul kept all three days very interesting.
  • Two different kinds of people, compliment each other so well.
  • Wonderful.
  • Excellent.

3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program:
  • We needed more time management – we were left rushing through the conflict section, which I feel is hugely important. It may run counter to your personal lives, but I would have stayed late or started earlier in order to not rush so much at the end.
  • If I can think of one, I’ll pass it along.
  • Maybe provide some time at the end of each day to “debrief and network” with the class.
  • N/A
  • Be longer in context.
  • Make the program four days.
  • Create another course as sort of a follow-up program. If this happens, please let me know!

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • I learned a lot about myself and feel more at ease with my weaknesses – Yes, they are there (and some I am just now admitting to myself), but they are pliable and changeable. Knowing about them, I hope that I can improve them. I realized that I do possess positive qualities, too, that I had not previously recognized. I feel confident and hope that I can really capitalize on these 2 ½ days.
  • It has given me some reinforcement of ideas for self improvement, and mechanisms to look at things from an independent perspective.
  • Speak less – listen more.
  • I have learned that I need to listen better and communicate more. I need to implement changes to working with others.
  • Made me aware and increased my self knowledge. It also especially helped me focus on what being a leader is about.
  • It has been put in black and white for me to refer back to as needed.
  • I recommend this assessment for anyone that wants to improve themself.
  • Opened my eyes to issues that were hidden.
  • By coming out of my shell.
  • It is going to change my life tremendously.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • I’m more aware of my needs and the needs of others. You have to take both into account. I will strive to seek that all important balance in life and assert myself more in the office. I also need to get away from my desk and socialize – listen a little more.
  • Remind me that I need to assert myself to make a decision, instead of continually hunting for information to make the perfect decision. I need to hold people accountable for following up with that direction once it is set, instead of getting involved to just take care of it myself.
  • Will be able to communicate better.
  • I believe I will become a more effective leader and will be able to build a better, more efficient team around me to improve production and moral.
  • Increase dominance and authority assertiveness where appropriate. Listen more. Reduce my mental wheels turning all the time (reflectivity) at work to be more focused on the work at hand.
  • It has made me mindful of the areas I need to improve on, and I will bring that information and this experience back to the office.
  • It will allow me to grow because you must know where you’re at in order to get to where you want to go.
  • Will improve certain areas drastically.
  • When I go back I will be more productive.
  • It is going to help me in every aspect of my life. Looking forward to the journey! Thank you, both.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • I haven’t been to other leadership programs, but I appreciated your psychology perspective. It is all about knowing and understanding yourself first. Your accepting, laid-back style was powerful for me.
  • First time I have attended this type of program. (6)
  • Excellent presentation (not boring at all).
  • This is me!! That’s what you showed me.
  • More detail and in depth, more enjoyable and not boring.

7. Quality of manual and presentation materials?
  • Good. Nice to have it all to take home because you can’t absorb it all at once in 2 ½ days.
  • Straight forward and descriptive. Repetitive enough to get the point across for emphasis, not just filler.
  • Excellent. (3)
  • A+
  • Very good! (3)

8. Training facility evaluation:
  • Breakfast at the hotel was not the best, but everything else was great. The Delaney House is very comfortable and the food great.

  • Excellent – good location and easy to get to.
  • Great!
