1. The quality of the program
  • I found the training impressively well constructed to engage me in a transformational discovery process. The assessment caught my attention with its accuracy, and the areas where I personally need to grow were addressed in a personalized and relevant way. The lessons aimed at each participant were amazingly lessons for all, as well.
  • This was a very high quality program with a well balanced combination of leadership theory, behavioral assessment, and class interaction.
  • Excellent. Very Eye opening.
  • Well managed. Information was critical to Leadership Development.
  • GREAT
  • The program was excellent.
  • Felt the program quality was very good.
  • Excellent. Would like an executive summary page with results & suggestions for improvements. Would hang on wall as a quick reference & reminder of what to work on.
  • This is an excellent program for providing feedback & understanding of Leadership at all levels.
  • Excellent quality, high energy, eye opening.
  • Very good. Presentation was excellent, as well as content.
  • The program was excellent. Excellent use of theory and practice, based on data.
  • Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. This was truly an eye opener in more ways than one. It has helped me tremendously.
  • I found the program to be of the highest quality – Both comprehensive and with significant depth of subject matter.
  • The quality of the program was Top-Notch.

2. Professional presentation of the instructors:
  • I've known Rick and Paul since 1995, and seen them present many times, and have been assessed with Performance Dynamics 3 times, so I thought I knew what to expect. But they raised the bar way high! Their abilities to transmit wisdom and insight are very impressive, with sharp humor and compelling storytelling; with gentleness and tact, but where needed, with a loving bluntness; with very well designed and administered exercises; and with astounding correlations between theory and everyday experience. I hire speakers for a living, and I have rarely seen better than this.
  • Excellent presentation skills were demonstrated on the behalf of both presenters. I would only ask the presenters to be more cognizant of how their beliefs pertaining to the military, sports, or preferred management style can be interpreted by individuals with different beliefs.
  • Very professional, yet fun.
  • Highly skilled.
  • Great
  • Presenters were wonderful to listen to.
  • Very Good.
  • Very professional & fun….Good blend of Talk, Book Quotes, Slides, Exercises & Interaction.
  • World Class, kept my attention easily and made it easy for me to stay engaged.
  • Presentation was very professional. Information was presented clearly and in an impressive manner.
  • Rick and Paul did an excellent job of keeping the seminar moving, but taking the time to effectively cover each piece of material.
  • Excellent! Very engaging with the group. Also, very in sync with one another.
  • Very Good. I thought the pace of the program was excellent.
  • Very professional – especially Rick. He is a great motivator.

3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program:
  • Offer more suggestions on how to improve on factors that you may be lacking in.
  • I think it was very well designed – I don't think there are any major flaws. I might suggest ways in which people can specifically demonstrate behaviors they will take forward, to hear themselves say some of the right kinds of things in the group. And some way to get people to know each other better – I got to know several people, but didn't push myself or have much opportunity to get to know others. The breaks were often taken up with checking email and voicemail, where I could have, should have, engaged a few more people than I did. Also, I asked Paul to get me a copy of the booklet that shows what questions resulted in what scores – to use as a prescription for change – if I can change the answers to the questions, in my real life, I would organically change the way I answer the questions in the future. All in all, was superb.
  • Include some moderate risk team building/experiential activities on Day 1. These shared activities could provide the group with a shared point of reference in addition to examples of how we currently communicate, use influence, appeals, etc.
  • Group ice breaker at the start. Never got the chance to know other participants or interact with any details.
  • More Group interaction.
  • Can't think of anything that could improve it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  • Nothing, it was great.
  • I'd suggest a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday schedule so people can have Friday in the office.
  • Although difficult, the more the class knows about each other, the easier it is to relate to different "types" of people. None
  • I think it is very effective but the use of more "hands-on" exercises might be even better.
  • Maybe more exercises on the first day.
  • Consider spending additional time explaining the differences between similar profile categories such as Compromise and Accommodation, or Difficult subjects such as Reward.
  • I think the class should be three full days. Some topics went by too fast.

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • Gave me a better understanding of why I do what I do, and how I may be able to change for the better.
  • I've taken the assessments 3 times over the years, and been involved in many conversations, between the UMass Family Business Center roundtables with other Giombetti fans, etc. I have become more aware of how my traits have influenced me, and how they are affected by my circumstances and my efforts. I feel more in control of how I might change over time, how I can get my hands on the dials, and make real change, including to the genetically formed traits. I feel more a driver than a passenger – less a victim than my own change agent – if that's not leadership, what is?
  • Provided an opportunity to take a look in the mirror and focus on some areas that might have been neglected personally and professionally. It was very difficult implementing my new communication style but it has already yielded positive results at home.
  • It engaged and motivated me to utilize what I learned more on the personal front. I seem to use my Leadership traits more effectively at work than home.
  • Brought to my attention the areas of improvement. There were areas I didn't even know that I should improve.
  • I want to make myself a better person.
  • Helped me look closer at my areas of improvement.
  • It has given me a lot to think about and reflect upon. Lots of improvement potential.
  • I can see the areas that I need to think about and work on in different situations. I can also see how position/function can affect my "scores".
  • Provided a great deal of feedback on my strengths, weaknesses and how they interact. I'm sure they will help to identify and correct many issues.
  • It has shown me some tendencies/traits that I might want to adjust as I interact with others.
  • It has given me a greater understanding of myself and a great awareness of how I can influence others. I want to go back and make sure I apply this knowledge to influence others in the right way.
  • I have gained a lot of insight into my personality, and have some clear ideas as to how to improve my personality.
  • Gave me an insight of my leadership style.
  • It affirmed information from Peers and will have a positive effect on my future behavior.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • It will allow me to focus on my weak points. It gives me a sort of "Road Map" for improvements.
  • I feel less captive to my traits – less "Oh, God, why me?" and more "that's gonna have to change. I am committed to be more a leader within myself, even though my job doesn't have a staff of followers, I do have groups of people who are influenced by my leadership. I feel I can be more innovative, enthused, persuasive, by relying less on expertise (more open to input); by raising my social skills (engaging people more); by lowering my communication (listening more); and changes to align myself with more effective ways of being more effective. I am optimistic that much of this is in my command.
  • I think the program challenged my definition of a "Great Leader" and will definitely influence my upcoming professional development plan.
  • More Authoritative and much better Listening Skills.
  • It will make me be a better Listener to other people.
  • I will be able to understand my followers better and communicate with them in a much more productive manner.
  • It will definitely improve it.
  • It will help me offer/provide focus as a new Manager.
  • I believe I will continue to strive down the general path I am heading and continue to make small course corrections.
  • I do not currently lead, but I am sure that this will make me a compassionate, effective leader when I do.
  • To be a better communicator.
  • I think I will stay more focused on applying a balanced list of skills and traits.
  • Put balance in my life, Personal and Business. Need to work on my Good Will.
  • Will change my Communication style and hopefully help me to really listen closer to those in my life.
  • Open up to people more, listen and understand people and their feelings.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • The scientific detail that makes this so real.
  • Fully explained the information given and most importantly no sales pitch to buy books or programs.
  • Pre-assessment – Working from real data.
  • There was enough time to process the theory and see how it's real; and see how to use your strengths to influence your weaknesses. The exercises were done very effectively, to make it undeniable that 2 way Communication, better Listening, Collaboration, etc., were more efficient time wise, with less waste, fear, frustration, error, etc. There was little in the seminar that didn't have deep roots in practicality, and left me wanting to pursue the further accomplishment of the goals I am inspired to achieve.
  • The program followed a fairly standard format and combination of theory, assessment, and how both can affect performance/results. It was different to see the usage of mental models and inclusion of leadership theory from such a wide variety of sources.
  • Programs show what Leadership is but this program breaks it down in detail. You really find out about yourself.
  • I haven't attended any others.
  • The ability to focus on my strengths and weaknesses through an assessment tool.
  • Seemed more personable than many. Taught by you two who are passionate about what you do…..even after 25 years!!
  • This program didn't tell me how to change, but how not changing will determine my future.
  • Much more comprehensive. Also less theory-heavy, and more anecdotal.
  • The difference is that you can relate and the best part is that you are assessed before you take the class.
  • The Energy level.

7. Quality of manual and presentation materials?
  • Very Good organization.
  • All Good info, and drawn from a reliable and respectable variety of sources. Was not overly geeky or stylized, and easy to digest. I might suggest hiring a graphic designer to make it more handsome (there are many that are very good – ask me if you want contact info). And a better notebook, designed for you. But it's fine enough, and the content is great.
  • The resources are above average and of high quality. The experiential activities (facilitated drawing, circle numbers in order, etc) are, however, becoming very common in many trainings involving leadership or managerial awareness.
  • High Quality. Easy to digest.
  • Good. I will keep it close by.
  • Very Good. (3)
  • Very Good, easy to follow.
  • Very Good, Very nice.
  • Excellent presentation. I enjoyed seeing the group scores and interacting with the members of the group.
  • Very clear, well laid out.
  • Great!
  • Quality was Excellent.
  • Well written, used humor to make points, easy to follow.

8. Training facility evaluation:
  • Excellent facility and accommodations.
  • The Delaney House is a great location, food is wonderful, room un-distracting and comfortable – nothing wrong with all of that (except the woman next to me was cold)
  • The Delaney House was top of the line. In addition to great food, the staff was very courteous and professional.
  • Very clean and comfortable.
  • Good (2)
  • Great (2)
  • Hotel and meeting rooms were excellent.
  • Good food, handy location, decent rooms.
  • Excellent (2)

9. General comments:
  • A very, very good program. A true life changing experience!!
  • Thank you for the "Road Map". Now I just need to follow the directions.
  • As stated, I was prepared for this seminar to be informative and interesting, but I was unprepared for the very impressive teaching abilities of Rick and Paul, who were fabulous teachers who made large dents (in a good way) in everybody there, and left several large impressions on me. So many thanks! Aside from everything else, I learned a lot about the art of educating.
  • I think this was an excellent introduction to Leadership Development that leveraged some excellent assessment tools. I would like to see a follow-up workshop with a smaller class that allows for more detailed/deep communication between participants.
  • I felt the group would have been more Dynamic if we had more similar personality profiles. Too many quiet people made for minimal communication and interaction.
  • Thank you for a very impressive learning experience.
  • I believe in the power of reaping and sowing. Sow good things and reap great rewards. You guys are the best and have sewn some great things, I pray you receive the rewards.
  • Very much appreciate, both personally and professionally.
  • So glad I had the opportunity to attend.
  • Really enjoyed the course and will definitely use this opportunity to improve both my personal and professional life.
