3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program:
  • Extending the hours when needed to allow coverage of the whole subject matter in the manual.
  • More interaction between the group on the first day
  • Tool box for different leadership combinations in order to focus on development plan
  • I can’t think of any
  • Some additional group activities & exercises may be beneficial. Did not get a chance to interact with everyone in the group.
  • More time to hear other experiences to share with the whole class.
  • 10-7, 8 AM is too early!
  • A few more breaks would help.
  • Very clear the personal results and also the suggestions for improvements.

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • I finally realized, after initially rejecting some of my profile, that you’re right on the money! I now understand why things went in certain directions during my past.
  • Opened up my eyes to new ways of managing.
  • Proved that what I perceived as strengths were actually weaknesses.
  • I need to listen more & stop thinking everyone is like me & wants to do things my way.
  • It helped me track & face some challenges that I need to work on.
  • It provides the heads up needed to reflect on the things that I am doing great, and the improvement opportunities.
  • I am more in tune with my actions and how it affects my associates.
  • It forced me to see things about myself that I otherwise would not have seen. My selective perception is kind of high.
  • I’ve always wanted to improve myself and it’s great to have the tools available, so it’s up to me!
  • I will share some of my good will with the use of some more social skills. Also to be a little more accommodating.
  • Yes, they are too much work to do in order to start the change.
  • This has shown me where my strengths and weaknesses are. I will make the changes needed to help me be a better manager, husband and father.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • It will make me re-evaluate my approach and style.
  • I think that I will be a warmer & more caring manager.
  • Because we are people and need to work as a team in order to improve relationships
  • I thought I was a good leader, and with this program I will be a better leader….for sure.
  • Absolutely
  • Will focus more on my expertise and compromise and try to push them down or at least hold them in check and push up the use of authority and discipline when appropriate.
  • I hope to improve my good will and temper my discipline. I think I will find balance.
  • It would give me direction, focus and structure and how to help others during the process.
  • The 2nd time around the program has helped me see the light to step up and bring it to the next level.
  • Very good, will help me understand how other people work and focus on their good skills & that they all don’t work like me & I need to bite my tongue sometimes.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • Never attended another program.
  • First program of this nature for me.
  • Again, I state, it was totally focused on ME.
  • It really hit home and opened my eyes to life/work balance.
  • This is a qualitative and quantitative metric that shows your personality.
  • The combination of statistics and emotions.
  • There is considerably more focus on behavior than any other course I’ve taken.
  • It’s about us, and not about numbers. No hype and syke.
  • It focuses on my issues, not management in general.
  • Interaction and passion with speakers.
  • More personal, Rick knows your face and your mind.
