1. The quality of the program
  • Fantastic. I would have to say that this is the first leadership training I have ever had. All previous classes were just "Management 101." Today I know the difference.
  • This rates as the best leadership program I have ever attended, including military leadership training!
  • Outstanding - even beyond the high expectations I had established, based on feedback from peers who had attended before me.
  • The program was run with a high level of intelligence.
  • The quality of this program was outstanding. It put a lot of things into perspective for work and personal issues.
  • The program exceeded my expectations because it not only defined the behaviors but also gave examples and ways to manage opportunities.
  • 1st class all the way.
  • Good/excellent.
  • Very good. Material was well presented and logical.
  • Well planned out presentation of concepts. Also did a great job of providing personal insight.
  • Very good. Enjoyed not having another Powerpoint presentation.
  • The quality of the program was excellent and I believe that it was an eye opening experience.
  • The material used was very interesting and helpful.
  • I thought the program was very good and was quite impressed at how good of a "read" you had on my own personal situation from the limited amount of contact we had.
  • Very professional. Good content; materials; instructors.
  • The program was upbeat and very enlightening.
  • Good quality program.
  • Very good information (complete), good basis, but I think you can use a projector to improve the quality.
  • Full of content. Very good program. Very organized.
  • Excellent program that really makes you understand yourself and why you react the way you do.
  • Excellent. Very effective with a focus on personality traits and their relationship with one another.
  • Good, well rounded presentation. Slides were well done and represented the topics. The binder was very complete.
  • Very good. I learned a lot.
  • Excellent.
  • High quality, well presented, with wide application. Materials were professional.
  • I felt the program to be very useful to me in the knowledge that I have learned.
  • Good to excellent. Perfect documentation and examples.
  • Excellent. Outstanding.

2. Professional presentation of the instructors:
  • Perfect balance between Rick and Paul. Credibility and knowledge were never suspect.
  • Both Paul and Rick are comfortable in front of an audience and take questions well.
  • The instructors presented themselves very well. Both instructors had a great handle on the subject and knowledge they were sharing.
  • Paul and Rick were excellent presenters. I liked the way they fed off of each other and gave different perspectives.
  • Very informative and lively. Keeps you focused.
  • Overheads are outdated; otherwise, a very good presentation.
  • Very good. Interjecting personal experiences was refreshing.
  • Both Rick and Paul did a wonderful job. Both were entertaining and provided relevant examples.
  • Very professional, but also personal.
  • The presentation was very good. It did not allow for the audience to become bored.
  • Excellent!
  • Both played off each other very well.
  • Excellent - knowledge, practical experience, high energy level.
  • They knew the subject matter very well and explained it in a dignified (but fun) manner.
  • Excellent! Paul and Rick had (just as they said) a "ying and yang" approach which was very effective and pleasant.
  • Very professional and passionate about their job and team. It was very good. The expertise is just great!
  • Very professional presentation. Perfect instructors.
  • The instructors were excited about what they do and kept us all engaged in the process.
  • Very professional. Balanced free-form discussion with maintaining a schedule.
  • Top notch! They worked together in harmony and did an excellent job of keeping our attention.
  • Very good. Covered many topics and maintained a professional attitude throughout.
  • Good. They really know what they are talking about.
  • Great. Interactive, supportive, honest, challenging, maximized the 2-1/2 day session.
  • Clear, with good flow.
  • Rick and Paul are powerful speakers. They both bring the message very clear.
  • Good. Started up slowly and progressed to normal speed.
  • Very satisfied, clear understanding.

3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program:
  • I would recommend having a professional marketing firm come in and update the slides. At times, it looked elementary. I think it would polish the best training session I have ever been a part of.
  • Take two 10-minute breaks every 1-1/2 hours. High energy people get antsy sitting too long.
  • More interaction between group.
  • Move around more. 8 hours is a LONG time to be sitting down.
  • More frequent morning breaks. Less direct reading from books. More real experience stories.
  • Would like to see more quotes and info from women leaders.
  • The program was very interesting and helpful. No much else could be done.
  • Add exercises to mix group up and, more importantly, get us out of (1) chairs, and (2) comfort zones.
  • The first morning was a little overwhelming. Maybe slow that section down a little.
  • I think it was very effective as delivered. Possibly some follow up type feedback would be good.
  • Use Powerpoint for the presentation.
  • Maybe one more day would be good, acting real situations.
  • Longer program to understand more details of management and practice more during the program.
  • If I was a longer program, I would love to have been able to work on interaction with others on how to handle our weakness (play out scenarios).
  • Powerpoint or updated presentation. Use more multi-media components in presentation.
  • Possibly more one-to-one feedback during the course.
  • Include a 360° feedback assessment prior to the training. In the first day, do more exercises.
  • Upgrade/update materials. Content is great, but appearance is dated. Hear this comment from several people.
  • How can we utilize resources (Giombetti and others) after this program to ask questions and check myself?
  • Have people on influence people to "step out of the box" a little more.
  • More breakout sessions in sub-teams and feedback.
  • Continue doing what you do, and continue to help change lives.

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • It has really opened my eyes. I will be making changes to my personal and professional behavior.
  • Helped me understand myself better, gave me vocabulary and context for my personality style.
  • It showed me that I do have areas for improvement, not weaknesses.
  • There were no surprises on my Performance Dynamics, but the feedback helped me understand the "why."
  • Allows me to "look at myself and acknowledge any weaknesses."
  • Positively - recognize areas in my life that need change, not just professional, but personal also.
  • It gave me an idea how and where to improve my life.
  • Provided insight and reinforcement as to why I am the way I am. This has validated comments by my wife of 15 years - finally woke me up.
  • It has made me take a look at myself and work on things I didn't even know I was doing.
  • It has shown me the areas that I need to improve, but also the areas that my coworkers have opportunities for improvement. I would like to make them aware of my observations so that the company, as a whole, can grow.
  • It taught me a better understanding of myself.
  • Self confidence. I'm in better balance than expected and still have things to work on.
  • It made me take a look at myself for the first time.
  • The assessment was very accurate on most points and I felt the personal feed-back with Rick and Paul was outstanding.
  • It encouraged me to provide and receive feedback to my coworkers and bosses. If I want to discuss issues/concerns with my boss, I have to provide honest feedback and accept honest feedback.
  • Very much. I've been working with these concepts for a while (partners in leadership program).
  • Big time! It opened my mind a lot.
  • It has helped me target areas in my leadership style that I need to improve.
  • It made me realize I need help in some areas, without attacking me.
  • The assessment has given me a better understanding of myself and my leadership style. I didn't have a good understanding of the assessments, meaning going into the course. A five-minute personal review after day 1 would have helped.
  • I have a better understanding of how I am and my areas for improvement.
  • I am more motivated than ever to become a true leader within ADS. More importantly, to my son and wife - a better person.
  • I need to pick priorities/characteristics to implement/improve.
  • It has helped me to see the areas I need to work on as a leader. It has also educated me to the inner workings of my team.
  • I will have to combine this with a 360° feedback report of a year ago. I understand and recognize most of them. I still do not understand low competition and reflection scores. Might be a language issue.
  • It made me look into that mirror and see a person that I thought I knew. And made me realize that I did not want to be that person, and gave me the desire to change.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • Positively. I look forward to reassessing myself within the next couple of years to see my improvement.
  • Made me aware of some detrimental attributes that I will work on toning down.
  • I will work on my listening skills to improve relationships and build team work.
  • I think this program has given my leadership style direction and focus.
  • I will work at not avoiding conflict, and temper my caring for my employees with accountability.
  • It will improve!
  • I will need to take a people approach to my life and work.
  • I will use authority better. Also, I now know that I do not handle conflict as well as I thought I did. I will also use much more 2-way communication.
  • Will be more focused on personal behavior that will affect the people around me.
  • I will make an effort to hold people accountable and make decisions based on the good of the team.
  • A lot of points touched upon it me directly. Now I know which way to go.
  • It has already given me ideas on how to diplomatically deal with a few immediate tough issues.
  • I now understand what it takes and what I need to do to get there.
  • I took the time and effort to come here. My employer was kind enough to pay for it, so I will definitely look at my profile to assist in improving my leadership skills.
  • It will teach me to become a better leader and manage conflict instead of avoiding it. I learned that my opinion counts.
  • On day-to-day activities = on my personal and professional life.
  • I hope to step back and think before I react to situations.
  • It is going to impact me in a huge way and I'll use it either for my job or my personal life.
  • It will let me focus on being a little tougher, setting higher standards, and following up.
  • I will take more time to evaluate situations and actually listen.
  • I will control my emotions, competitiveness, let others communicate, seek to understand others' positions, communicate better with my workers, and listen.
  • Will improve my communication skills and conflict management.
  • Allow me to build on my strengths (maximize results) and develop areas as needed.
  • In understanding how I influence others and be better.
  • I will be more outspoken and aggressive to my ideas. I will also be more open-minded as I do pursue.
  • It will definitely support my transfer from manager to leader. It will be a long, but interesting journey.
  • It will make me become a leader, which will make be a better manager.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • People felt comfortable and knew that Rick/Paul wouldn't allow for anyone to look foolish.
  • A lot more group participation, which is great.
  • On a more personal level.
  • The delivery of information and initial assessment helped me internalize the information.
  • Lively - fun - interactive.
  • This is a combination of multiple methods rolled into one, not just a single-minded way of thinking.
  • Enthusiasm of instructors and life experiences.
  • Personal action oriented approach. We moved way beyond theory.
  • Assessment results! Very helpful.
  • This is the first program that I have attended where I have gained insight into my own personality and management style.
  • The instructors and material were very helpful and understanding.
  • More in-depth understanding of my own personality.
  • I've never been anywhere else.
  • The personal and professional interaction of the instructors and learning about myself. Most programs you do not learn about your strengths and opportunities.
  • It's a very well documented program.
  • Makes you look internally at yourself. Holds you accountable for your actions.
  • The instructor listens to you a lot. They speak from their experience.
  • Focus on psychology and personal traits.
  • I actually learned concepts I can use!!!
  • I have never attended a program like this before.
  • There are always a lot of differences between one program and another.
  • Program directed to me - able to take concepts presented and know how they impact my current status of development.
  • Focus on specific traits and pre-evaluation.
  • It allowed me to look at myself from another's viewpoint.
  • Techniques/instructions/tests are based on my personal profile. All other courses were more management knowledge courses.
  • The material was precise and clear.

9. General comments:
  • More than I expected. I will definitely recommend Giombetti to others.
  • Great sense of comfort and ease from both instructors influenced a collaborative/comfortable atmosphere.
  • Great stories from instructors.
  • Best program of self-evaluation I've ever attended.
  • Very enjoyable, educational, enlightening.

  • I am thankful that my employer sent me to this training. It has been beneficial.
  • Thank you!
  • I really enjoyed this course. It taught me a lot about myself and how to achieve my goals.
  • Great learning experience.
  • Good job!
  • This course helped me greatly and I would recommend it to anybody.
  • I enjoyed the class and learned a lot about myself and others.
  • It was a pleasure to meet you guys!
  • Gives you the tools to make the changes needed to be a better leader.
  • I think this is a wonderful program to empower all the management people or all individuals.
  • Color graphics in manuals. Will make the scattergrams and profiles easier to read.
  • Thanks for showing me how to improve the quality of my personal and professional life.
  • It was a very helpful program. It will help me a lot. One recommendation - be more aware of the participants. Sometimes you missed questions or comments.
  • Will highly recommend to others and introduce to my team as it develops and grows. Looking forward to results from future assessments.
  • Thought provoking, with help to implement using action plan and epiphanies handouts.
  • I appreciate the honest desire of Rick and Paul to teach. I also would like to thank Rick for talking to me one-on-one.
  • It is a rude awakening to think that you are a tough plant manager. I now realize that this perception is more position based to the employees that report to me. I am far too accommodating and avoiding and compromising for management within my company. I want to and shall change that behavior (don't know how yet).
  • Thank you, and may God bless you to continue to be an influence in changing people's lives.
