  9. General comments
1. The quality of the program
  • This was the most eye opening training experience of my life. I have attended over 40 training seminars in the last 10 years. This is the only one that I can truly apply in my personal life, as well as in my career.
  • The finest leadership program that I have ever been through! Excellent. Good combination of stories and theory.
  • This program was excellent. It confirmed things that I did know and enhanced things I did not know.
  • I thought it focused very well on the personal/individual aspects of leadership.
  • The quality of the program was very good. I enjoyed reviewing all my qualities and evaluating how they affect my career.
  • I thought the program was outstanding. I was aware of my strengths and weaknesses, but this program showed me how to utilize them.
  • Good. Very informative. Accurate information on self.
  • Very good.
  • Excellent. Perhaps using a projector would help to assist better in your presentation. It was hard answering the assessment package, with many new words that were difficult to understand. I was using the translator to try to answer it. [This gentleman was from Mexico].
  • I can't say enough about the quality.
  • Very high.
  • World class. One of the best I've ever been exposed to. Very, very relevant.
  • Very good. A lot of information (a lifetime of information) in 2-1/2 days!
  • I thought this program was extremely rewarding and reinstilled a new found purpose and direction of ME. The series of education caused me to challenge my own traits and identify courses of action to benefit the company that I work for.
  • Very good, and enlightening for me.
  • Absolutely top notch, very informative, and enlightening.
  • From 1 to 10, an 8.
  • Great program, with a lot of valuable information.
  • Outstanding. Continued evaluation in self-evolution.
  • Fantastic.
  • Very good. Brings all leadership fundamentals together and personalities.
  • High.

2. Professional presentation of the instructors:
  • Highly knowledgeable of subject matter and practical every day use of psychological theory.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Paul was passionate.
  • Excellent tag team! Good combination of humor and stories.
  • Extremely professional. Of the utmost integrity.
  • Very professional.
  • Very good. Good pace, along with a smooth transition from material to stories.
  • Both instructors were up beat, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Never once did I lose interest due to their presentation skills.
  • Very personable. Good interaction with group.
  • Excellent.
  • Very professional and they knew very well the subject. Sometimes you need to slow down in very interesting subjects.
  • Couldn't ask for two better, more informative, and professional people to run such a program. Great job!
  • You guys were professional and funny - a true enjoyment.
  • Always well done.
  • Top notch, were never "caught short." Knew their material but, more importantly, they believe what they do and have a passion!
  • Very knowledgeable and fun to work with. Down to earth experience and practical examples vs. academic only.
  • Excellent - understanding, thought provoking, and challenging.
  • Excellent. Great mix of material, stories, and your personalities play off one another.
  • Rick and Paul made the instruction interesting, fast paced, and effective.
  • Very professional. Info presented logically.
  • Completely professional at all times.
  • From 1 to 10, an 8.
  • First class.
  • Very professional and cordial.
  • Insightful, real, and funny.
  • Great! I would caution the "opinions" section and voicing of opinions - not the best forum.
  • Very confident, humorous, able to answer questions. Never tried to answer questions when they didn't know.

3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program:
  • Take a full three days to allow more time to cover all material in the book, as well as allowing plenty of time for interactive discussion and participation.
  • More time spent on how to manage different attitudes in a team environment.
  • Make it longer so individuals can really get to know themselves.
  • Delve more into harnessing the powers of the different profiles into an effective team (role play interactions to build teams with different profiles).
  • Rick - all your examples involving you are of how you were "RIGHT" about people or how you used tools correctly. It would be very helpful/humble for you to describe some of your failures or misses.
  • Allow more breaks, less amount of time.
  • Hand out a disk with the presentation to use frequently the information once you have it in your computer disc.
  • Use PowerPoint!
  • None, really. The setting and support were excellent - well paced - professionally done.
  • Would it be worthwhile to get others' perceptions of you and dial that into the course? As we saw, "selective perception" is sometimes different.
  • Saving some of the two-way interaction for a period at the end of each day.
  • Afternoon snack.
  • I know this is a self assessment, but is it possible to survey our peers or others to get their input on how they see us? Potentially a more accurate assessment?
  • Continue to expand this program. Follow up with companies annually to continue development.
  • After 20 years of your experience, I have nothing more to add.
  • Go over the assessment with each person after the class. With the assessment over the phone, I was lost. If I had the personal assessment again, I could create a game plan.
  • More activities done as groups.
  • More team building exercises.
  • Shorter, but more frequent breaks. Temperature controls. Larger coffee cups.
  • More team exercises. In the seats too much.
  • More moving around during the days (group activities).

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • Dead on! Extremely eye opening and I will use it as a tool to shape my behavior and improve.
  • 100% I understand that I need to develop my skills.
  • Improved my understanding of own behavior and how it affects others.
  • It has influenced me to really strive to transition away from a manager and into a leader.
  • I can clearly see, with accuracy, what I need to work on.
  • It has allowed me to review my overall characteristics for my career and current position.
  • It opened my eyes to what I knew. Perception was the biggest thing for me - how others perceive vs. what I think.
  • I've realized a prior manager really helped me to swing my style in one direction, but I moved slightly too far.
  • Gave me things to think about.
  • Very much. It gave me ways to improve myself in conflicts and ways to treat and speak to people. I need to improve in other areas - foreign language.
  • Taught me things I didn't know prior to the training and showed me a better way to carry out certain situations.
  • I will certainly be different in the work place, but, most important, I'll be different at home.
  • Yes - great tools!
  • I see areas for improvement, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • At first, it upset me, hurt my feelings a little, but, upon reflection and attending this course, it helped me see its truth and provide me with the tools to improve and grow.
  • It has made me understand myself and identified characteristics that are up to me to change if I want to become a better person in my current role, or a great leader in a future one.
  • The only seminar I've participated in without watching the clock. I really understand how and what I need to manage for myself to be the leader I think I've been.
  • I think I was aware of my method of leadership, gave me courage to effect change in style.
  • Noticing and believing in my strengths will allow me to be a more productive and happier person. Noticing and changing my weakness will allow me to enjoy and appreciate other people, with a sense of comfort.
  • I've learned a lot about myself as a person and I have tools to move forward, personally and professionally.
  • I will use most of the information at home, in my personal life.
  • It has made me aware of some of my deficiencies.
  • Shown me problems in my personal life and ways to improve.
  • Try to look more inward.
  • Lots of epiphanies - already seeing benefit.
  • Opened my eyes to several areas for improvement. Refocused my priorities at work and home.
  • I feel that there were a lot of conflicting info, however, I saw a lot that was accurate. It opened my eyes on several fronts. I know what I should keep doing and what I should work on.
  • Shown me the equation to what I "sum up" to be.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • I will be a significantly more effective leader going forward. Before this class, I did not have the tools to target my challenged areas and take the proper action to improve!
  • 100%
  • It allows me to focus on developing my weaknesses with clear guidance.
  • It will empower me to be more conscious of people and their abilities. I will try to trust in others more.
  • I will concentrate on my listening skills to improve my communication and accommodation levels.
  • Positively.
  • If I apply it, it will help me with patience and listening.
  • Need to improve discipline and conflict and avoidance traits. Provide feedback to my peers.
  • Help me improve and bring up my communication.
  • I will use some of the recommendations and give special attention to the ones I had low scores in.
  • Tremendously!
  • Only time will tell, but I'm ready to use the knowledge I have learned to become a true leader. Thank you!
  • Caused me to think before I act.
  • It will move me from manager to a true leader.
  • The only difference between an idea and a dream is implementation. Have gotten some good ideas from this course. I just need to implement.
  • It will give me direction which I must choose to plot to the distant land I might someday encompass.
  • Will get me to slow down, which will impact my communication, competing, just to mention a few. I have specifics to put into practice that will take me from a good leader to a great leader.
  • Hopefully it will energize me to be more outspoken and contributing to the organization.
  • The level of comfort I now have with my own abilities and thoughts will change my approach in difficult situations. Understanding and believing "the way I tick" will make me a better leader.
  • I will make it a point to be a much better listener. I didn't realize how bad I was at it and how defensive I could get.
  • I will think about some of the issues I have to face before I act.
  • It will aid me in how I interact with my cookers.
  • It will impact my style very much.
  • Be more cognizant of others.
  • Become a better listener.
  • Focus, confidence, and ability to make things happen,
  • I'll focus on the power of people and go back to the basics.
  • Go back and make changes.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • Other programs discuss theory and do not discuss the ways to improve in specific areas that an individual may need to work on. Every individual needs to understand who they are first, if they are truly looking to improve.
  • The passion and data.
  • It first breaks you down, then tools you with what you need to build yourself back up.
  • Ranking the characteristics and seeing how they influence each other.
  • The assessments made it more personal to what I need to work on, not grouping me in.
  • Did not include any feedback from others I work with. I would have liked to see my peers' rating of me.

  • Excellent.
  • Good.
  • Extremely professional.
  • Great. Nice format and product.
  • Great.
  • Good. Hand out a disk with the presentation to use frequently the information once you have it in your computer disc. Take some time and it may be a good idea to have it in Spanish. You have a lot of people that may need to understand better.
  • Excellent. Well thought out, and with a very good flow pattern.
  • Very helpful, good explanation of data presented.
  • Perfect!
  • Top notch.
  • Fantastic.
  • Good, very comprehensive. I'll use some of this again.

9. General comments:
  • Provide a list of the books you used, quoted from, with a brief synopsis of its content.
  • Enjoyed presentation and interaction.
  • Given my maturity level has increased since my time with GE, this program was the best training course I have attended. Highly recommend! Real eye opener.
  • This was the second time through Performance Dynamics. I encourage others to attend more than once!
  • I had a great time and learned a lot about myself.
  • You've made an excellent and interesting format that would benefit any person.
  • I am proud to be part of an organization that would allow me the time to develop my leadership skills. Balance in professional and personal life is something that I now feel is possible. Thank you, Rick, Paul, Ross and the Sadowsky family!!!!!
  • Overall, well done. Highly recommended to future and present employees without our organization.
  • Thanks!
  • Really had a great time. Was different than anything I've experienced. Words alone can't express the gratitude I have for the opportunity to be a part of this program.
  • I thank you for sharing experiences and have the great way to influence people that participate. I will recommend your course to other people.
  • Keep up the great work and keep fighting the cause.
  • I would recommend this program to my friends and cookers.
