1. The quality of the program
  • Excellent. Best non-technical course I've ever taken.
  • Top notch. Very effective getting ideas across to broad group of people.
  • Excellent. Hit the bull's eye.
  • Excellent. Good examples and hands-on exercises to help drive home the concept.
  • High quality/high energy materials and presentation. Good use of activities and examples. Could use some additional one-on-one evaluation of personality profiles.
  • Very comprehensive and helpful.
  • Very high. This is an excellent counterbalance to the interpersonal skills theory of always tailoring your style to those you are interacting with (need both models; balance).
  • Very high quality - good range of topics.
  • Very good.
  • The program was very effective with adequate instruction.
  • The program was very valuable and informative.
  • A very good and well-organized program with a lot of insight, expertise, and knowledge to share with the participants.
  • The program was excellent. Everyone should be able to look in the mirror and try to change.

2. Professional presentation of the instructors
  • Professional presentation of the instructors:
  • Awesome. Done with professionalism, dignity, respect - but called a spade a spade.
  • Very well. Repetitive nature encouraged better remembering, understanding.
  • Excellent. Well-prepared, understood the subject matter extremely well.
  • Continually cognizant of the professional and personal impact of their teachings.
  • Excellent. Both instructors were extremely knowledgeable on the topics, very interesting to listen to and very animated. Kept the class lively.
  • The instructors presented a professional demeanor and kept the discussions on an other than personal level, except when specifically asked.
  • 2-people presentation was effective and less boring.
  • Held the interest of the entire class. Never say anyone "check out" in 2-1/2 days. I retained a large portion of what they presented.
  • They are very confident, capable, and able to field questions on the spot.
  • Professional presentation of the instructors: (Cont.)Very good. I learned a lot about leadership and human nature.
  • Very good speakers. Perhaps they should adopt PowerPoint, unless they want to emphasize not relying on electronic communication.
  • The presentation was upbeat, lively, and quick-paced so as not to be boring.
  • Skillful communicators.
  • Excellent. The instructors held my attention the entire session.
  • Outstanding; well-prepared, and right examples to clarify the themes.
  • Very high quality! Great mix of instruction and group activities. Kept the group engaged.
  • Very good and comprehensive.

3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program
  • One page of definitions (e.g., what a power base is).
  • Allow more tie for one-on-one after individuals better understand themselves.
  • Administer and provide feedback on mental maturity. Expound on the meaning of "question marks" regarding personality traits.
  • Although people are busy with their personal lives, how about a social event after the first class - maybe a short happy hour-
  • More explanation of the interaction of the various traits.
  • Please use less "God damned" or "Jesus Christ" - thanks!
  • Room was too small. More on team selection and management (need more time in course, rather than cutting something out). Initial assessment - need instruction on question marks!
  • Possibly include the mental maturity evaluation. And I need some more guidance on dealing with syreacysm (spelling----)
  • Have my peers and higher up supervision folks attend this course.
  • Go to a PowerPoint presentation.
  • Try to allow for longer classes to go more in-depth.
  • More group exercises would be helpful.
  • Activities that require moving about. 2-1/2 days of sitting is too much.
  • More participation from classroom.
  • Do it more often for more people!!!
  • Would be helpful to know how the tests were split into different leadership/personality characteristics.

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • Very well. So far never considered family as part of my life. Career/ profession also includes family.
  • Tremendously. Look reality check of myself, my weaknesses, and how others may perceive me.
  • I have long wondered what it was about me that seems to hold me back from promotion. Finally it is clear what it is and how I can correct it.
  • Help me to understand the interaction between the traits and how to become more effective as a leader.
  • Made me more aware of my lack of reward need and the potential needs of others.
  • Excellent opportunity to reflect and improve my professional as well as personal life in a very "real" way.
  • Presented a good model for my behavior/attitudes and showed specifically where and why I differ. Gave tools to get there.
  • Absolutely - my concern is keeping the "fire" going. Hope it will last.
  • Yes - look at the problem, accept it, fix it.
  • It made me think a lot about myself. Some of the scores seemed on the mark; others I am trying to figure out still.
  • It has helped me realize my weaknesses and possibly how to improve them and make myself more valuable.
  • Provided good feedback to help me identify areas of improvement, actions to take, as well as confirmation of things I'm doing right.
  • It has influenced me to be a better leader and to encourage others to see potential within themselves.
  • Understand my areas needing improvement and have tools to accomplish that improvement.
  • It opened my eyes as to let me know what are the strengths and areas of opportunity that I have.
  • Personally, a lot.
  • You really have an accurate pre-course assessment system and you work consistently throughout course to provide clear understanding of how the individual can effectively work to be a better leader, regardless of their particular work environment.
  • Great tool to help me recognize opportunities to develop key leadership characteristics.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • There is no stopping me now!
  • Refocusing my energies in certain areas and I am confident I can be a leader in future.
  • Less avoidance; more human touch to my personality; appreciate others more; better listener.
  • Better understand those around me to be able to more effectively lead them.
  • It has confirmed some things that I thought were areas to improve and it helped me understand how to go about that improvement.
  • Help me to be more aware of the leadership traits that I need to improve, as well as continue to use those traits that I do well.
  • More awareness of self will help me relate to others better.
  • I will be much more aware of my tendency to shut out others and prejudge others. I want to be and WILL BE a greater LEADER!
  • Specifically, less emphasis on data and more focus on interaction style.
  • Expect significant improvement.
  • Address the root causes, more on, communicate well, reduce the "avoidance" trait for dealing with some difficulty to manage individuals.
  • It will probably, although I'm not a formal leader yet.
  • I believe it will help me be more assertive.Be more assertive and provide structure and direction when needed.
  • It has influenced me to be a better leader and to encourage others to see potential within themselves.
  • I'll work on becoming warmer and more socially acceptable.
  • It will help me a lot since I know and been given the tools to accelerate the positive change.
  • Will improve the way I work with my people and will improve my relationship with them.
  • I'm now much more connected to my weaknesses and therefore I can address them to be more effective.
  • Provides good tools and suggestions on how to manage the characteristics that influence my effectiveness.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • When I can say that 90% of the time spent in class I was able to learn something new. This class is now in my top list as one of the best training attended (among 2 others).
  • Rick and Paul were very dynamic. The group was very participative.
  • Personal evaluation is accurate and then the resulting course just makes sense!
  • The combination to use it in the work and your personal life.
  • It really strikes on us.
  • Definite ways to improve.
  • This program was about me learning more about myself.
  • Analysis of my current behaviors and the path to change and improve.
  • It emphasizes and quantifies behaviors. It is almost scientific in its approach.
  • The things presented are things I can use in the real world on an every day basis.
  • The instructors are direct, straight to the point.
  • Content is completely different.
  • Links to specific personality assessment.
  • It is dealing with "heart" of issues. Look into "myself" - not others.
  • More intense self-evaluation.
  • Fact-based - to the point - painfully honest.
  • Been too long to compare.
  • Haven't attended others.
  • In-depth knowledge and analytical skills.
