1. The quality of the program
  • This is an amazing program . . . actually a life changing opportunity. Anyone who has this opportunity to attend and interact with Rick and Paul is fortunate.
  • Excellent. The course was the most insightful that I have attended. It identified areas I knew that I need to work on and several that I was not aware of. After review of the scores, I found they were very accurate.
  • This was the best training program I have ever attended, as far as its value to me and my development. We covered a lot of topics in a short time and these subjects were tied together very nicely.
  • This is a great program that provides individuals the opportunity to learn more about themselves (possibly how others see you, your actions).
  • Excellent. This program is great at making you look at yourself in an easy, comfortable environment.
  • This course was the best leadership course that I have taken to date. The quality was top notch and the participation facilitated by Rick and Paul was phenomenal! Not only did we learn from these two outstanding teachers, but we also learned from each other!
  • High. Focused on the goals and stayed focused. Good balance of repetition for remembrance and ownership.
  • The quality of this program is top notch. Other instructors were not as passionate and did not spark any reasons to change.
  • I found this to be a course of very high quality. It really brought home to me information about "who I am" that I didn't realize.
  • I believe the quality of the program was good. I would like to see more interactive modules added.
  • The program seemed very good.
  • I found the program very enlightening, to discover myself and find ways to change aspects of my character.
  • I thought that the quality matched the quality of the attendees. Nice job.
  • Tops. In 2-1/2 days, I never looked at the clock. It was engaging and thought provoking. Chock full of real world examples.
  • Excellent. I have been to many training classes and, by far, this has been the most helpful and effective.
  • Excellent. Well done and planned.
  • Program quality was very good and practiced.
  • On a scale of 1 - 10 this program is a 12!!!!!
  • Excellent program! The pace and material were great and allowed for a fairly interactive course.
  • Excellent, in terms of relevance and addition to my tool kit.
  • Awesome!!! Great topics, themes, convincing approaches.

2. Professional presentation of the instructors
  • Excellent. The instructors were knowledgeable and engaging. They kept my interest throughout the course.
  • Good at responding to questions in a way that directs in a positive and helpful direction.
  • Instructors appeared to communicate well.
  • Excellent! Loved the stories. Paul is a sketch!
  • The instructors were great!! Rick and Paul were the perfect balance to each other. They are very knowledgeable and provided many references for future readings.
  • Enthusiastic and entertaining - outstanding!
  • Rick has superior presentation skills and seemed to be able to connect with everyone in the audience. Paul has excellent presentation skills, as well. His high energy kept things lively.
  • The instructors are passionate about the topics, which leads to an effective delivery.
  • A+.Strong presentation skills by Rick and Paul.
  • Both instructors were very professional.
  • Very good. Introducing good examples.
  • The best I've seen, having taken dozens of "yada yada" management courses.
  • Highly professional. Obviously the credentials are there. Rick and Paul both walked the talk and graciously shared their own (sometimes humbling) experiences.
  • Very professional, but I would suggest watching the use of certain words and/or phrases that may offend (e.g. "God Dxxx").
  • Extremely professional, effective and true.
  • The best. Again, there were some tough conversations and tough "spots", but both handled it with utmost professionalism.
  • Solid! Very good examples and approach to the material.
  • Very good. Use of profanity could be offensive to some when used gratuitously. Paul;s insights really strengthen the course.
  • Superb (Paul has issues!)

3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program
  • Provide more information on how to improve the scores.
  • Add profiles of entrepreneurs.
  • I would have liked to see a "one" summary page telling me what I need to work on and helpful suggestions or guidelines to follow. I will have to sift through this manual to locate them. I would actually utilize a "one"-page summary and hang it on my wall as a reminder!
  • The two and one half days could be expanded to three full days. I found the information to be that valuable.
  • Analysis of data that would show "balance" - for example: "high compromise may be balanced by low accommodation" - shown graphically.
  • The program is fine as is. Good pace, good interaction.
  • Continue to use real life examples to stress specific content of course.
  • I like the interaction when discussing real problems from the group. Like to use more.
  • Presentation was good, but felt that overheads vs PowerPoint format diminished the professionalism.
  • Maybe have a session where you group people together with "conflicting" profiles and perform role-playing or the like. Would doing the personal phone interview be more effective after the course?
  • I wish it was more of a one-on-one type of environment.
  • Keep doing what you are doing.
  • Not anything comes to mind, as all material was concise and communicated clearly, and all exercises drove home the point.
  • More team exercises.
  • Table of contents or index for the manual.

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • It removed some preconceived notions. Areas that I was good at I was not as strong (or not as strong at all) as I thought. When discussing authority and the need for structure and organization, it was like the light went on!
  • It reinforced what I knew in a way that help me explore ways of making improvements.
  • It was an awakening for certain areas.
  • Eye opener!
  • It has made me take a look at myself and helped me accept who I am. With this, I can "manage" myself more appropriately
  • I am not providing enough "rewards" to people and am too inflexible.
  • The assessment has helped me reflect and realize how important it is to always try to be a leader rather than just a manager.
  • I will definitely modify my behaviors based on the assessment.
  • Fantastic! Showed exactly where you are good and where you need to improve. Has validity, based on official, proven tests.
  • I plan to be a better listener.
  • I feel that I need to not be afraid to say "no." Also, I need to let others be right.
  • It's given me strategies to become a better leader.
  • Being able to better understand my shortcomings as a leader.
  • I believe that I"ll become a better manager through listening and connecting to people.
  • Not only has this course opened my eyes to whom I am, but it provides the road map to where I need to go as a true leader.
  • Definitely! I am able to walk out with tools that I can and will use!
  • Given me the confidence to make changes in my work/career, but also in my life (which is even more beneficial!)
  • It has spelled out, in black and white, what I need to work on, and be aware of, as well as the tools to improve.
  • You said it in class - the hardest thing to do is be truly critical of yourself.
  • Ouch! Change has started; wheels are turning on new opportunities!

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • I will work on my communication skills (listening) and work towards more of a Theory Y style.
  • It will have a certain impact. The conflict management skills/tool box should prove very helpful.
  • Positively will help me to hold people accountable; learn to listen; be more passionate and "lighten up" with my management style.
  • I will definitely move my communication level up by listening. I will also seek to use reward versus discipline more.
  • I need to provide more structure and form, without being defensive/ adversarial.
  • This program helped point out a couple areas that I am not as good as I perceived myself being.
  • It will definitely enhance it. This will be done by working on the items that need to be developed.
  • I will be more direct, non-avoiding, and disciplined as a result. Thank you for taking an interest in my development! You guys were great!
  • I plan on solicit more input from my people that report to me and delegate more.
  • I truly believe that I will be a stronger leader by developing in my areas, particularly expertise, confidence, and accommodation!
  • I will get more balance from life and with others.
  • Better leader through listening, good will, compromise, and realizing conflict is part of the game.
  • I'll be more connected to my staff and seek input from them more often.
  • It will help me smooth out my rough edges and, I'm sure, expose others. Leadership is not a light switch. It will be a continuous process.
  • I felt that I will be able to change my personal "connection" with our team. I need to be transformational - not transactional.
  • Absolutely.
  • Completely given me an eye-opening experience and confidence to make the changes.
  • This question is best answered by those around me 3 months to 12 months (and beyond) from now.
  • Listening and good will improvements will be high on my list of thoughts when interacting with others.
  • No doubt about it. Have concerns about those who still live in the old world and how they will react.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • It was very insightful and concentrated on the good and bad - not just the good.
  • Focus on myself.
  • It was more personally focused.
  • Both Rick and Paul's concern, passion, and ability to handle a group of Type A personalities effectively. Bravo!!!
  • This is the first I've attended.
  • It focused on my specific traits relative to "desirable" traits and provided a process for change.
  • It was focused on me. It forced me to look inward and be truthful with myself.
  • The instructors provided real world scenarios that were applicable to all of the characteristics.
  • All the examples and exercises were critical to making the ideas stick. What makes this program different from others you
  • Content was geared to higher management skill set and themes.
  • The program focuses on leading instead of techniques. It focuses on leadership, not management.
  • It's about people - not management stuff.
  • Your knowledge made the content applicable and believable.
  • The quality.
  • I can identify with my issues. Other classes have others critique you. Seeing that I scored myself in these categories made me extremely aware of what is reality.
  • Its real life. It's not one of those "flavor of the month" training programs.
  • This course was about me and my leadership style. This course wasn't generalized, but was specific to what I could do to improve.
  • It centered on my personal development.
  • Variety of real world examples. Synergy between the two presenters (Rick and Paul).
  • Less invasive - - no role-playing - - things are totally focused on the person.

7. Quality of manual and presentation materials
  • Very understandable and kept my interest (which, at times, can be hard to do).
  • OK.
  • They were sufficient.
  • Excellent reference manual for follow up.
  • The manual followed the presentation and was very clear and helpful. It will remain with me as a reference source and guide.
  • Very good.
  • Very well put together, very effective.
  • Great supplemental information. The content allowed for interaction within the group.
  • Very good - however, I believe that this should be more electronic to keep up with the times.
  • Outstanding!
  • First rate.
  • Excellent.
  • Excellent. The exercises were outstanding and really proved the point.
  • Why not PowerPoint?
  • Very good. Reading list at the end is a great idea. Is there a book? (consider it . . .)
  • Need index and table of contents. Can all charts have individual scores already posted?

8. Evaluation of the Facility
  • Beautiful grounds, awesome nature. Excellent food and accommodations. Chairs were terrible - hurt my back. Had to get a chair from the lunch room to be comfortable.
  • Excellent.
  • OK.
  • Very good, but a little crowded.
  • The facility is great for training classes.
  • Great, good setting.
  • Beautiful. I call it "The Country Club."
  • Good.
  • The facility is very conducive to learning.
  • Outstanding.
  • Perfect. I want to work here!
  • Adequate.
  • Wonderful!
  • Amazing.
  • Facilitates learning.

9. General comments:
  • Can I talk with you every Monday???????
  • What is the follow up course?
  • I hope everyone gets an opportunity to work with both of these men some day in their lifetime!
  • You helped me to realize what my title "team leader" really means and what I need to do.
  • These programs should be taken by upper management as well.
  • I would highly recommend this course to others within and outside the company.
  • The feedback was eye opening. This will be a great benefit, both personally and professionally.
  • I would recommend this course to my boss, as well as some of my direct reports.
  • Thank you, Paul and Rick, for helping me become a true "leader."
  • The best I've been to that will have an immediate impact on my job.
  • I would like to have the testing/evaluation done on my direct reports so that I might better understand them.
  • I would definitely be interested in feedback a year or two from now, to see how I've improved and what I need to work on.
